I’ve been beating around the bush lately sharing with people the fact that I write a weekly newsletter, and that I have ambitions to grow it.

Over the past week, I’ve started to tell people with more confidence and about my goals to eventually expand it to other platforms. I thought people would laugh at me for these ambitions, but people have been really encouraging.

So just a reminder that sharing your wins and your ambitions with the right people can be a great growth step.

I spent years not talking about my work - sometimes because I was busy, but often because I thought my achievements weren't "newsworthy" enough.

I started a digital marketing agency at 23 and grew it to be a team of 6 by age 26.

And I felt like nobody knew what I was working on or knew about my business.

At the time I assumed it was because my business wasn’t successful enough, or that there were so many digital marketing agencies in existence that starting one wasn’t that impressive.

But really, it was because I didn’t share my story often enough.
